Synopsis
Qiqige, a traditional Mongolian singer decides to go to Beijing for work. Her husband, Batu stays in Inner Mongolia to work for an equestrian club... Despite its meager resources, he decides to buy a exceptional horse and to release it into the wild... Qiqige will be forced to return to the steppe...
Hasichaolu
Hasichaolu, a Mongolian director, graduated from the Film Academy in Beijing in1989. He started in the film business as an editor. By now, this young director has already made several films, including The Story of Zhula, Tiao Xin Tuo Mo, and The Old Barber, an intimate and touching film, which won the Golden Peacock Award at the 37th International Film Festival in India and INALCO prize at the Vesoul Festival of Asian Cinema 2008.
